NFL Senior Director of Research, Dr. Douglas Terry (part 2)

Chronically with Lauren and Nick
Senior Director of Research at the NFL, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Director of the Center for Cognitive Neurosurgical Studies and the Co-Director of the Vanderbilt Sports Concussion Center (VSCC). Dr. Douglas Terry, or Doug, knows a lot about concussions and neuropsychology, and loves research.
Concluding our great conversation in part 2, we talk about the NFL spotters, fans' expectations on professional athletes; to be able to watch them after buying a ticket and how bad a collision or play looks as compared to the actual effect, long-term effects and the very interesting research into sleep apnea, including potential new research questions sparked by Nick's question!
