On the first episode of Brainiac for 2022 we are joined by Sandhya Mylabathula, a PhD Student and Public Health Policy Fellow at U of T. Recorded on Bell Let’s Talk Day in Canada, Stefan and Sandhya discuss concussions from a mental health perspective, going over some of the common psychological outcomes of concussions and how to best support the mental health of those with concussions. Towards the end, Sandhya discusses her passion for policy work and walks us through her involvement in concussion policy at the federal and provincial level.
